Katie and Alexander's Wedding

Wow! What a beautiful wedding! Working with Katie and Alexander was such a great experience. From the heart-warming ceremony at the Cabildo to the reception at Marche, everything about this wedding was perfectly romantic. Not to mention the couples amazing tango as their first dance!

From the bride: We first met on July 14, 2017 in my parents backyard. Alexander was immediately attracted to my blue eyes and fun, laid back personality while I though "Who is this tall, handsome man in my backyard?" We spent the rest of the summer having fun in Houston and New Orleans. Summer came to an end and I went back to school in Nacogdoches, Texas and Alexander in New Orleans. Though we stayed friends, life pulled us in different directions for a few years. In 2014, while I was living in Tamarindo, Costa Rica, I started receiving Facebook messages from Alexander. I though "Why does he want to talk to me so badly? Well I'm moving home in a few weeks so I will just call him then." On March 9, 2015, Alexander "cold called" me and professed his love. "Katie I just want you to know that even though we met so long ago, I never stopped thinking about you." We dated long distance for about 6 months and then I moved from Houston to New Orleans. 8 months later, we got engaged.
